Subject: [Avpaganschat] I need volunteers!!!

Okay, folks, having finally gotten past Aegir's feast and a wedding at
ani-Magic, i need to ask for help for Pagan Pride Day. here's what I
need:

Security: if you are over 18 and can patrol and keep your mind on the
job--of course you can visit vendors, etc., just don't forget the
funny looking guy over there-no, wait, not that one! He's my
brother!-no, seriously, we seldom have problems, but we DO need
security. If you'd like to volunteer, email me. Plus, i can work it
out so you have swing shifts--c'mon, guys, how much do I ask for?

ROADIES: yes, we have a very professional setup this year, and I need
roadies to satisfy our stage master, Jack Miller. All you have to do
is be able to follow directions, lift, pull, shove, and have RESPECT
for the equipment. Plus, ladies, you will get to meet Hauk, because
you'll be helping them ;)

Set up, tear down: no, you don't have to work both--but i need early
risers and those who don't see the light of day until noon, both. If
someone wants to stay all day, even better!!! What will you do? Why
help set up and help tear down.

General volunteers: what is this? this is Nan going "I NEED HELP!" at
the top of her lungs while standing in the middle of the park! No,
actually, it's me saying I need people all day long who can help out
in many different ways--from helping the kiddie sfind Theresa and
company, to helping set up rituals to helping my oldest actually sit
down at lunch ( she stood all last year and ate two meals while trying
to run the raffle. I mean, yes, she eats slow, but two hours to finish
a chicken sandwich?)

Why help? this is YOUR community, YOUR PPD, and YOUR extended family,
in many cases. We do this in the hope less people will ask us if we
"worship Satan" and all that crap (unless you DO worship Satan, in
which case, look me up. I want to talk.)We do this to show pride in
ourselves AND our Gods. this is a way of honoring them, even more then
honoring each other. It's a way of showing we truly ARE the person
next door and yes, we're as ethical, moral, etc., as anyone else.
Plus, I'm telling you that as always life overwhelmed me and I'm
sh***ing bricks here! Please help!

Seriously, if you can help out in any way--email me! i promise, I'll
actually respond. no, really, I will. I swear it.
