[AVPPride] AV Pagan Pride Day planning meeting

Hi all, 
This is YOUR chance to get involved with AV Pagan Pride Day! We have lots to
do the day of the event, and not a lot of volunteers. I think we have about
14 right now. Which barely cuts it. So if you can be a part of Pagan Pride
Day by helping with children's activities, helping set up or tear down,
distributing flyers, making signs, please come to our planning meeting.

We have been invited to make use of Sacred Space's back room, which will be
available for us at 7pm. I am thinking we could meet at the park at 6 then
head over to the store from 7-8. That way we can walk the park and figure
out set up, etc.

I'd also like to plan a time to put up our pop ups and see what repairs need
to be done to them so they work, and to make signs to stand up on a corner
with an arrow to bring walk up traffic from Palmdale Blvd and Sierra Hwy.

Please meet us at Poncitlan Square Wednesday evening Sept 12th for a meeting
to get organized. Volunteers who work 2 hours or more may purchase a PPD
t-shirt for $15 rather than the going rate of $20. Maybe in the future we
can afford to give the shirts away but right now our budget is really tight.

We can use all the help we can get promoting this event and getting the word
out by putting flyers in local store windows and on counters where it will
be allowed- Places like tattoo parlors, and other places where we might find
pagans or people of like mind.

So please help however you can... And see you at the meeting!!
